Liquidware recently hosted a “Liquidware Unplugged” webinar where they had Nerdio’s CEO Vadim, and their EMEA CTO Bas Van Kaam come on and talk about the Liquidware Integration with Nerdio! Azure Virtual Desktop is moving away from Storage Blob image type

Tom Hickling from Microsoft has announced that Azure Virtual Desktop is moving away from Storage Blob Image Types. Customers should really be using managed disks instead of storage blobs. Windows Desktop Client updated to v1.2.3401 (Insider)

FSLogix 2201 hotfix 2 released

Microsoft have released FSLogix 2201 Hotfix 2 (2.9.8228.50276). This hotfix includes fixes to Multi-Session VHD Mounting, Cloud Cache meta tracking files, and registry clean up operations. Azure Virtual Desktop Metadata service is now available in Japan & Australia

Microsoft have announced that the AVD Metadata service is now generally available in Japan and Australia regions. This has been in public preview for a few weeks so its great that it is now GA. Scheduled Agent Updates is now GA

Microsoft have announced that Scheduled Agent Updates for Azure Virtual Desktop is now Generally Available!! This feature allows you to set certain time windows when you want your AVD Agents to be updated. This is a really useful feature as sometimes when the agent updates, the hosts are temporarily unavailable or it can cause user disconnects. Azure Virtual Desktop is now GA in Azure Government Secret

Azure Virtual Desktop is now officially available in Azure Government Secret. The AVD Service has been awarded Department of Defense Impact Level 6 (IL6) accreditation.
