As you have probably figure out now, things look a bit different! We are starting to migrate across to our new website! The new website has been renamed from WVD Community to Virtual Desktops Community. We intend to do a lot more than Azure Virtual Desktop, and will break into Azure, MEM, Azure AD, Windows 365 etc. Lots of exciting stuff going on!

Azure Virtual Desktop on Azure Stack HCI
At Microsoft Ignite Microsoft have announced that we now have on-prem Azure Virtual Desktop using Azure Stack HCI!!! This has been a big ask for a while now with many customers wanting to work on a Hybrid model. Well now that is possible, using Azure Stack HCI on your on-prem environment. Azure Virtual Desktop Autoscale has gone into public preview
Microsoft have announced that Azure Virtual Desktop autoscale has gone into public preview, which means it’s available for everyone. This means we can now create autoscaling configuration via the Azure portal. Support for Azure AD joined Cloud PCs in Windows 365 Enterprise
